Many of the readers of this blog failed to apply for IOCL recruitment this year (i.e. in 2012), as in order to apply for this IOCL job opportunity, they had to apply for GATE 2012 much earlier – last date for which was already over on 21st October, 2011. Age-wise they are still eligible (Max. age 26 years for General category) and hence they want to appear in IOCL recruitment next year (i.e. in 2013). When would the next IOCL recruitment notification for Engineers come out? This is the question I am being asked by them.
I have been following IOCL recruitment notification closely for last 3 years and to answer this question, I did an exam date trend analysis and following are my findings:

Notification date: 30th September 2009.
