South Indian star Prithviraj held his wedding reception yesterday, 1st May 2011. The reception took place at the Le Meridian hotel in Ernakulam in the state of Kerala, India.
The actor got married to his girlfriend Supriya Menon, a BBC reporter on 25th April 2011 in Palakkad, in the state of Kerala. The news of his marriage came after his constant denial that he wasn't seeing any reporter and that he wasn't planning his marriage as for now.
The wedding ceremony was a very private affair, which was attended only by the close friends and relatives of the couple. Prithviraj's mother, Mallika had said that the wedding was attended by only 30 people.
Mallika had said that their family had many elderly people, who wanted to have a private and intimate ceremony. Prithviraj's mother even denied the reports that the wedding was a very secret affair. She said that the couple had known each other since childhood and there wasn't any reason to maintain secrecy.
