Ayazuddin, youngest son of Moradabad MP and former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin passed away today, following a battle with life and death after his fatal accident on September 11.
Ayazuddin's condition had been "critical" for the past six days, even as tests indicated dysfunction of his brain, a medical bulletin said.
Ayazuddin, sustained critical injuries after a high-end sports bike he was driving skidded off the road at Puppalguda on Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Hyderabad on September 11.
Ayazuddin's cousin, Ajmal-ur-Rahman, 16, who was riding pillion, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.


Cricketer and Moradabad MP Mohammad Azharuddin's son Ayazuddin passed away in the morning, said reports. Reports suggest that the death was confirmed by the doctors of Apollo Hospital in the morning. A medical bulletin revealed on Sept 15 said that Ayaz remained unconscious, his neurological condition following hypoxia (oxygen deficiency causing a very strong drive to correct the deficiency) because of cardiac arrest continues to remain of "grave concern", said doctor Hari Prasad, CEO, Apollo Hospital.
