In the Karjat City Hospital, Naina is improving, and Daksh and Abhimanyu face each other and it would give impression, that they will come to blows. At least the first few sentences they speak to each other, is meant to do that to the viewer, but in fact they are trying to bluff one another, and when then can not contain themselves any longer, the two cousins, start bursting into laughter, and embrace each other, and Naina just stares at them with her wide grin. It appears from the introduction Daksh gives to Naina, that Abhimanyu is his Aunt's son. They were close as childhood friends, and for a long time Abhi was abroad, possibly doing his catering studies. He tells Daksh during his conversation, that he has come down to Mumbai, to start a restaurant. As they go on with their reminiscences, the doctor arrives and has a cursory examination of Naina, and tells the young men, that he will have to keep his patient for another 12 hours for observation, and then he could discharge her. The go out to allow Naina to take her rest, and sit outside in the corridor, chatting, and joking, and finally, a nurse has to come and remind them that it is a hospital, and they go quiet, and dose off, till the next day,.
In Mumbai, in the Patwardan house, all have got up, and Rohini has come down to the dining room, and watches her mother in law busy doing something, and in order to attract her attention, puts on an act, with her head in her hand, giving an idea to her mother, that she is in pain. The mother swoons over her, with overwhelming compassion, and any one who looks at her will say, she is over doing her grand motherly duties, and should restrain herself, but she is an extrovert, having her first grand child, and she does not want anything to go wrong, and overlooks all of Rohini's antics. May be she thinks it is a better deal, to take her seriously, lest any harm come to her grand child, rather than be critical of her behavior. Kaka, in a special way, is uniquely [...]
